Safety Information
Lodging & Campus Security
Students will be housed in single-sex dormitories in either single or double rooms. At least one adult will be staying in the dormitory with the students.
UDLAP has 24-hour security maintained by a campus security staff.
In order to enter or exit the UDLAP campus, everyone must pass through security gates.
An ID card or QR code is required to leave the campus. Our students will not have these codes.
Medical Care and Student Passports
UDLAP has a medical clinic and an ambulance on campus.
Student passports will be collected after boarding the airplane in San Antonio, distributed to students prior to going through Immigration Control in Mexico City, and collected again immediately after going through Mexican immigration.
Adult Chaperones
The student to adult ratio will be no more than 12 to 1.
An ALA administrator and the 10th Grade Team will be traveling with the students along with adults volunteering as chaperones. Students will be in their assigned groups whenever we travel outside the UDLAP campus. Each group is led by at least two adults.
Anyone who wishes to be an adult chaperone with our San Antonio ISD must complete a volunteer application.
